Ohio Bike Week Starts

This is the start of Ohio Bike Week! all the local nightclubs and bars will be hoppin' the next few days. I will be entertaining at the Gulf Inn this Friday June 4th and next Thursday June 11th.

This is also the beginning of the wedding season. With summer trying to make its way it has left a good spring for weddings. Not to hot or cold and a lot of sunny Saturdays! We have been all over so far this year. The local halls we have visited in the last few weeks are: Mon Ami winery in Port Clinton, Sandusky Yacht Club, CIC / Catawba Island Club, Colonnade in Milan, Kalahari water park and resort, St. Marys Church in Marblehead, St. Marys Church in Elyria and Bronson's In Norwalk.

I have been so busy I have not had time to write in the blog. I will try to keep this up to date more often.

The last bridal show for the season

Well Sunday was our last bridal show of the winter season. It was fun as always and we talked to lots of brides. The majority of them are planning their 2010 reception now. it was nice meeting them and hearing about their plans for the big day.

Back From Las Vegas DJ Convention

The Dj Convention was awesome for this Ohio DJ. I attended many seminars and learned a few new ideas for weddings and receptions. These ideas will take your reception to a whole new level of personalization. I am excited about these ideas and can't wait to make your wedding reception a dream come true.

While in las Vegas at the DJ Convention we did have some time to see the sites. We met up with a few friends and walked the strip, ate at an all you can eat Sushi Factory. we had dinner at the top of the stratosphere. We also played some Blackjack and watched our friend Billy play at the Paris Hotel.

All in all it was a great week.

Brides By The Bay Bridal Show Sandusky Ohio

Well Sundays bridal show was a huge success. Over 130 brides attended and we handed out 98 information packets. So we talked to almost every bride in attendance! Things are looking good as 2009 Dates are booking fast and 2010 is not far behind!

The show had a total of 48 Sandusky area Wedding professionals. A fashion show with wedding dresses, Tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses was put together by Brides World from Sandusky Ohio. I played music requests taken from the models as they walked the runway. It was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Brides By The Bay Bridal Show Sunday

This Sunday January 11 2008 Lyman Harbor wedding facility will be holding its annual bridal show. The bridal show start at 12:30 and ends at 4:40. They have many wedding specialist from Cleveland To Toledo that all come to Sandusky Ohio for this bridal show. You will find Photographers, Wedding Cakes, Flower shops, Dj | Disc Jockeys, Videographers, Wedding Gowns, Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaid Dresses and much more.

We will have a booth set up and will be providing the sound for the fashion show this year. Stop by our wedding booth and find the local vendors that will make your reception a day to remember.

The End Of The Corporate Holiday Season

Well The Holiday Party season is over. In the last 2 weeks I entertained @ three Parties. The first of the 3 was my largest event of the year with around 850 people this year. It was held in Sandusky Ohio at the Kalahari water park (http://www.kalahariresorts.com/oh/). The event was awesome i was on stage with a local band (New Decade) which rocked the house! I played music video's all night on 4 15' screens. the band and i kept the party rockin' until midnight.

The next night I was at the same location (The Kalahari)(http://www.kalahariresorts.com/oh/) This was my second year Djing for this company. They had about 175 people in attendance. I started the night off with some Trivia then went into Dancing. Everyone had a great time and danced until the end. This was a busy night @ the Kalahari they had 11 holiday parties and still managed to pull off great catering and flawless night.

The Next Friday December 19th Was my last holiday party of the year. It was at a local 5 star restaurant called Chez François (http://www.chezfrancois.com/)The Food Is Superb and the wait staff is top notch. I played dinner music for about 45 people and started out after with a few games then opening the dance floor. Everyone had a good time and danced until 11:30 Pm.

Shelley also DJed a Holiday party for The Willard American Legion (http://www.willardpost514.org/) As always everyone had a great time. Singing Karaoke and dancing the night away.

Corporate Holiday Season Is here!

Well my holiday party's have kicked off this year. It started last Saturday with a small business from Sandusky Ohio at Plum Brook Country Cub. There were about 50 people in attendance including about twenty new employees. I do a lot of interactive stuff with this group like some team building games etc. I was asked to break in the new employees as this was their first holiday party.

So I called each one of them up by name and got them playing a game or two. It was a blast they had a bunch of fun and the business owners loved every minute of it. I am already in the book for next year!

Gary our newest DJ entertained at his first holiday party the same night. This party was held at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Norwalk Ohio. He had about 70 people in attendance and had a blast. They did some holiday Trivia and dancing for 5 hours. Great Job Gary!

Now on to this weeks event Tuesday Junior High Dance, Wednesday Game Show Trivia, Thursday Karaoke, Friday night big holiday party at the Kalahari for around 1000 people and Saturday back at the Kalahari for another holiday party for about 300 people.

I will comment on those parties next week.

Last wedding Reception of 2008

Well my wedding season has come to an end. It has been a great year for me. I met hundreds of new people and about forty new couples this summer. The last wedding I entertained for was a blast, the couple were fun and out going. They chose to do a sports style introduction for their reception. I turned out to be perfect. I hope to have video of this soon to post. Everyone danced all night including the bride and groom. What a great night!
